Mexican TV Producer Rojano Approaches FMF To Discuss Bid To Buy Liga MX Side Querétaro

Mexican TV producer Héctor Pérez Rojano visited the office of the Mexican Football Federation (FMF) and "confirmed that he is representing a group of businessmen" who are interested in buying Liga MX side Querétaro, according to Miguel Ángel Ramírez of LA JORNADA. Rojano "did not offer any details of his visit and argued that he could not give an interview." It "remains in the air if the proposal would meet FMF requirements of team owners." Rojano "is one of three bidders interested in acquiring the club." Mexican second division side Nexaca owners Guillermo Cantú and Ernesto Tinajero "have also expressed interest in acquiring another team." The "other person interested" in Querétaro is Liga MX side Atlante Owner Alejandro Burillo (LA JORNADA, 5/23).
