La Liga Side Valencia Announces May 23 Meeting To Explain Sale To Shareholders, Fans

La Liga side Valencia President Amadeo Salvo said that the club's administrative council will hold a meeting with season-ticket holders and club shareholders on May 23 at 8:30pm to "explain Valencia's sale process," which is currently ongoing, according to Carlos Bosch of SUPERDEPORTE. The process is "following the scheduled phases and on Saturday, the preferred bidder is expected to be selected" (SUPERDEPORTE, 5/15). SUPERDEPORTE reported former Valencia footballer Amedeo Carboni has joined Valencia bidder Zolotaya Zvezda and will become a Valencia adviser, spokesperson and employee in the team's social and institutional departments if the Russian bid is successful. Former Valencia footballer Javier Subirats recently signed on with the Russian bid to become Valencia's sporting director (SUPERDEPORTE, 5/15).
