Hamburg Residents In Favor Of City Submitting Bid To Host 2024 Summer Games

An online survey found out that the majority of Hamburg residents are "in favor of hosting Olympic Games," according to Erik Trümpler of the HAMBURGER MORGENPOST. The survey, which was conducted by mafo.de, asked 500 people in and around the city "about their opinion toward Olympic Games." A majority of 64.7% "is in favor of Hamburg submitting a bid to host the 2024 Summer Games." Hosting Olympic Games would be a "priceless image boost" for the city, according to 60.6% of those surveyed. A further close to 40% desired Hamburg "hosting a global event."
