Event Notes: U.S. Men's National Basketball Team Announces Exhibition Slate

The U.S. men's national basketball team will play exhibition games against Brazil, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico and Slovenia while holding training camps in Las Vegas, Chicago, N.Y. and Gran Canaria (Canary Islands) (NBA). ... The "best of UAE rugby" will take to the field at Zayed Sports City in Abu Dhabi on Friday and at Dubai Sports City on April 18 "to mark the launch of the Bill McLaren Foundation’s Challenge Cup in the Arab world." The challenge matches are "at the heart of a three-tiered sporting series that champions the sporting ethos personified by Bill McLaren, the world-renowned ‘voice of rugby’" (GULF NEWS, 4/9).
