ManU, Medical Partner Toshiba Unveil New Medical Facility At Aon Training Complex

ManU and Toshiba Medical Systems on Tuesday unveiled a new medical facility at the Aon Training Complex. The partnership has seen Toshiba install scanning equipment to help with early diagnosis of injury, improve player welfare and also facilitate research into early markers of potentially preventable injuries and ways of maintaining players' longevity. The new facility will aid analysis of patterns and trends in rehabilitation, with innovative cardiac and musculoskeletal profiling helping to gain a wider understanding of responses to athletic training, with possible applications to everyday health problems and injuries outside of professional sports (ManU).

AID PROJECT EXTENDED: ManU and Kagome, the club's official partner in Japan, have extended their tsunuami aid efforts in Japan. Kagome is looking to raise awareness and aid in the regeneration of the Tohoku region, which was struck by a tsunami in '11.
