ZDF Records Top Ratings For Winter Sports Broadcasts Over The Weekend

German public broadcaster ZDF "has attracted top ratings for its winter sports broadcasts over the weekend," according to Alexander Krei of DWDL. The men's biathlon mass start race, which aired on Sunday morning, attracted 2.14 million viewers. The number translated into a market share of 18.8%. The women's biathlon race, which started two hours later, was watched by 2.54 million viewers and had a 21.2% share. Ski jumping was also successful and obtained a market share of 15.8% as 1.84 million viewers tuned in. In addition, ZDF's Paralympics summary attracted 1.26 million viewers and had a 12.2% market share starting at 10:29am (DWDL, 3/10).
