Barcelona Announces 40 Info Sessions Ahead Of April 5 Renovation Referendum

Barcelona has set up an informational tour with 40 meetings in a span of 30 days that will explain the club's proposed project to renovate Camp Nou and build a new Palau Blaugrana basketball arena. The proposal will be voted on April 5 in a member referendum that will decide its fate. In addition to those 40 meetings, the club will post details of the proposed plans on its website leading up to the vote. The proposal includes renovations to Camp Nou, a new Palau Blaugrana, an ice rink, new commercial and social areas and the addition of 5,000 parking spaces. The overall cost of the entire project is projected to be €600M ($824M) (Barcelona).
