Nike To Make Liverpool Player Raheem Sterling English Poster Boy Ahead Of Brazil World Cup

Liverpool player Raheem Sterling "will complete a remarkable turnaround in fortunes by becoming an England poster boy this summer," according to Sami Mokbel of the London DAILY MAIL. England kit supplier Nike wants the teenager, who already has a sponsorship deal with it, "to feature in advertisements promoting Nike England merchandise in the lead-up to the tournament" as it looks to cash in on the World Cup. A "rapid transformation in his form" has resulted in Sterling, 19, getting an int'l recall for next week’s friendly against Denmark (DAILY MAIL, 2/28).
