Bundesliga club Bayern Munich has appointed former Deutsche Telekom Manager RUDOLF VIDAL as managing director of its N.Y. office, which "will start operations on April 1." The club's N.Y. office "will initially have a three-man staff" (HORIZONT, 2/25). ... The Williams F1 team has added to its senior race operations lineup with the appointments of ROB SMEDLEY as head of vehicle performance and RICHARD LOCKWOOD as head of race strategy. Smedley will join Williams prior to the Bahrain Grand Prix. Lockwood previously worked at Marussia (Williams). ... The Rugby Football League named Rugby League World Cup 2013 Marketing Manager MARK FOSTER as marketing director. Foster will take operational control of the RFL's marketing, communications, digial media and box office departments (RFL).
