Sport1 Secures Broadcast Rights For Field Hockey World Cup, Champions Trophy

German multimedia sports network Sport1 has secured the broadcast rights for two of this year's biggest field hockey events, the Rabobank Hockey World Cup 2014 and the Champions Trophy. The men's and women's Hockey World Cup will take place in The Hague, Netherlands from May 31-June 15. The Int'l Hockey Federation (FIH) Champions Trophy is scheduled for Dec. 13-21. Sport1 will air selected games of both tournaments on its free-to-air TV channel. All other games will be available on its pay-TV channel Sport1+ (Sport1).
