Spain's La Liga Has Seen Fewest Coaching Changes Of European Leagues This Season

La Liga has seen the fewest coaching changes of any of the top European leagues this season, according to MARCA. Only three La Liga clubs -- Osasuna, Real Betis and Valencia -- have made coaching changes this season. This "could reflect the confidence that execs have in their coaches, but it is probably a reflection of the difficult economic circumstances for clubs, which are not looking to spend money." Serie A has had the most coaching changes this season, with eight. Recent changes "at AC Milan and Livorno have followed firings by Lazio, Genoa, Sampdoria, Chievo, Bologna and Catania." Serie A is followed by the Premier League, which has seen six coaching changes and France's Ligue 1, where "five coaches have left clubs this year -- including two resignations." Four Bundesliga coaches have been fired (MARCA, 1/14).
