Marketplace Roundup: Bayern Munich Signs Deal With Beauty Care Company Henkel

Bayern Munich has signed a new partnership with beauty care company Henkel Beauty Care. Bayern announced the two-year deal during its training camp in Doha on Tuesday (Bayern Munich). The deal is thought to be worth around €1M ($1.36M) a year (SOCCEREX, 1/8). ... English League Two side AFC Wimbledon announced a sponsorship deal with author John Green. Green's most recent book, "The Fault In Our Stars," was named Time Magazine's best novel of '12 (AFC Wimbledon). ... Ligue 1 side AS Monaco has "signed Italian cosmetics brand Cotril as an official partner." The one-year agreement "will see the luxury brand become Les Rouge et Blanc’s official supplier of hair and beauty products" (SOCCEREX, 1/8). ... Fila "has signed a sponsorship and supply deal" for two years with second tier Brazilian side Avai FC. Fila will "provide all playing kit and casual clothing for the team" (SOCCEREX, 1/7). ... Private health and life insurers Macir Vie "have renewed their partnership agreement with the Algerian Football Federation (FAF) for a seventh year." The Algerian company "will offer bespoke insurance for the national players across training camps, national and international competitions." The firm "will also have logo placement on a range of Algeria’s training wear" (SOCCEREX, 1/8).
