La Liga side Málaga has announced that it has hired Sporting Dir MARIO HUSILLOS. He "was hired by the club 18 months ago as sporting director, but was let go from the position during the summer." Husillos's first task "will be to help the club navigate the winter player market" (MARCA, 12/12). ... Former top Italian official ROBERTO ROSETTI "has resigned as head of the Russian referees' department citing family reasons." Rosetti, who was named best referee in Serie A four times in a row between '06-09 and officiated the Euro 2008 final between Spain and Germany, was hired by the Russian Football Union in '11 "in a bid to improve refereeing standards in Russia" (REUTERS, 12/10). ... Former Brazil coach MANO MENEZES "has been confirmed as manager of Brazilian giants Corinthians next season." The 51-year-old replaces TITE to return to the club he coached from '08-10 (XINHUA, 12/12).
