Marketplace Roundup: Euromericas Marketing Agency To Launch Program In Spain

Sports marketing agency Euromericas, the "leading marketing agency in Latin America and the No. 5 marketing agency globally," will launch a program in Spain in '14 to "help the economics of Spanish clubs though a card for team members." The card will "allow fans who purchase it to buy and obtain benefits and discounts on hundreds of products from malls, supermarket chains and pharmacies, among other vendors." The same program "is already in place, with much success, in Germany and Brazil" (SPORT, 12/7). ... A-League side Western Sydney has signed a "three-year sponsorship deal with financial services company Pepper Group." Pepper, which offers "lending, asset management, and real estate advisory services in its home market of Australia, as well as in Spain, Ireland, and parts of Asia, will have its logo on the right sleeve of the team’s playing jerseys" (SOCCEREX, 12/6). ... The Emirates Bowling Federation and joint venture company Borouge signed a partnership agreement making Borouge the "official sponsor of the UAE national bowling teams." Abu Dhabi Sports Council member Mohammad Khalifa Al Qubaisi "pointed out that Borouge's decision to become the official partner for the EBF was inspired by its determination to develop bowling in the UAE" (GULF NEWS, 12/8).
