Marketplace Roundup: International Luge Federation Extends Partnership With Infront

The Int'l Luge Federation (FIL) and Infront Sports & Media have extended their cooperation ahead of time by a further four years through to '17-18. The partnership recently entered its 15th year with the launch of the '13-14 FIL World Cup season (Infront). ... Ligue 1 side OGC Nice has formalized "a partnership with banking group Crédit Agricole." Crédit Agricole Provence Côte d’Azur "is planning to release a club-branded Visa credit card for fans." Further details "regarding the duration and financial terms of the agreement were not released" (SOCCEREX, 12/2). ... Brazil's National Council for Advertising Self-Regulation (CONAR) has banned Brazilian telephone company Claro's commercial starring Neymar and former footballer Ronaldo. In the spot, "Ronaldo calls Neymar and uses various different voices, imitating other people to bother Neymar." CONAR decided to suspend the commercial after "complaints from consumers who believed it sets a bad example for children" (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 12/3).
