Leicestershire CEO Mike Siddall Hopes New Season Changes Bring Financial Gain
Published November 27, 2013
County Championship side Leicestershire County Cricket Club CEO Mike Siddall "hopes changes for the new season will trigger a financial boost," according to the BBC. He "welcomed the decision to start County Championship fixtures on a Sunday and to play the majority of Twenty20 matches on Friday nights." In the last financial year, "the club recorded a loss" of more than £250,000 ($404,600), having announced a profit of nearly £300,000 12 months earlier. Sidall: "We hope for an increase in income and membership as well" (BBC, 11/26).
