Spanish Basketball League's Real Madrid Sees Attendance Spike Over Weekend

The fans of the Real Madrid basketball team, which competes in the Spanish Basketball League (ACB), "are steadily increasing attendances for the team's home games at Real's Sports Palace arena," according to AS. In "just three days, the team recorded two of its largest crowds of the season." Friday against Euroleague side Zalgiris, 11,429 fans attended the game, and Sunday against ACB side Estudiantes, Real Madrid drew a crowd of 12,317. The club sold more than 5,000 tickets costing between €8 ($10.8) and €150 ($203) (AS, 11/25).
