Werder Bremen GM Thomas Eichin Confirms Talks With Juventus About Possible Cooperation

Bundesliga club Werder Bremen GM Thomas Eichin "has confirmed talks between the German club and Serie A side Juventus about a possible cooperation," according to Adrian Bohrdt of GOAL. As part of the cooperation Juventus "would send young, talented players to Bremen on a loan basis in order to let them mature." Eichin: "Yes, I was in Turin for negotiations with Juventus. I was invited to talk about a possible cooperation." The plan would also be beneficial to Werder because the club "would have access to players that it otherwise would not be able to get due to its limited financial means." The chances for such a cooperation "are reportedly not bad." Media outlets reported that "there was a good chemistry between Eichin and Juventus officials" (GOAL, 11/21).
