ANDONI ZUBIZARRETA will remain FC Barcelona's sporting director until June of '16 through "an extension of his contract with Barcelona for two more years." He is "expected to sign his new contract within the next few days." Zubizarreta is currently in his fourth season with the club (MARCA, 11/7). ... England Basketball has appointed HUW MORGAN as its new CEO. Morgan "joins England Basketball with over 20 years of experience within the sports industry," most recently having managed the Int'l Rugby Board's commercial programs for 11 years. He has also spent time working with the European PGA, Arrows F1 and as CEO of Harlequins, developing a specific knowledge in operational management, together with developing major commercial programs "which include all aspects of broadcasting, sponsorship, commercial ticketing and licensing" (SKY SPORTS, 11/7).
