Retiring Icon Sachin Tendulkar Is India's Wealthiest Cricket Player

A Wealth-X estimate showed that Indian cricket player Sachin Tendulkar, the country's legendary batsman who is retiring next month, is India's wealthiest cricket player with a personal fortune of $160M. Known affectionately by his legions of fans as "Little Master," Tendulkar has amassed a fortune that eclipses the combined net worth of the four other cricketers on the list, and is more than three times the net worth of the next wealthiest player, Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Tendulkar is popular across the world, and in '92 became the first overseas player to sign for Yorkshire, scoring more than 1,000 runs in the summer (Wealth-X).
