Mediapro's Gol Channel To Donate 1% Of 'Clásico' Revenue To Youth Sports

Spain's Youth Sports Foundation and multimedia group Mediapro's Gol channel on Friday signed an agreement for Gol to donate 1% of its revenue from new subscribers for next week's "Clásico" between Barcelona and Real Madrid, according to the EFE. Spanish Superior Sports Council (CSD) President Miguel Cardenal, who is also president of Spain's YSF, signed the agreement with Mediapro Dir General Juan Ruíz De Gauna. De Gauna called the initiative "an intelligent way to advance" and said that it "will be the best event Gol can currently offer to support the foundation of sports" (EFE, 10/18).
