Germany-based outdoor wear and equipment producer Jack Wolfskin has appointed MARKUS BAUM as footwear director with immediate effect. The 39-year-old replaces JOCHEN ROLLE, who headed the department for the last 11 years and is leaving the company due to personal reasons. Baum previously worked as brand director for Eastern Europe at adidas and will report in his new position to CMO ELKE STEIN (Jack Wolfskin). ... National Rugby League Sydney Roosters U20 coach PAUL GREEN "will take charge of North Queensland next season" after being appointed as NEIL HENRY's replacement. Green "gained the nod" over Manly assistant coach BRAD ARTHUR, Melbourne's KEVIN WALTERS and TRENT BARRETT and Brisbane's KRISTIAN WOOLF (SYDNEY MORNING HERALD, 10/1).
