Bayern Munich Striker Thomas Müller Signs New Testimonial Deal With Weber-Stephen

Bayern Munich striker and German int'l Thomas Müller "has agreed to a deal with charcoal and gas grills manufacturer Weber-Stephen," according to Ulrike App of W&V. Starting in March, Müller "will be part of all Weber-Stephen advertising activities ahead of the 2014 FIFA World Cup in Brazil." Wiesbaden, Germany-based ad agency Fuenfwerken "will be in charge of the campaign's communication." Sports marketing service provider Pearls Group, which is based in Munich, "also will contribute." Hamburg-based Pilot "will be responsible for media, while Anymotion, which has its headquarters in Dusseldorf, will design the website." In addition, Fischer Appelt Relations "will take care of PR and social media" (W&V, 9/27).
