Media Notes: Champions League T20 Ready To Be Broadcast On Star Sports, Star Cricket

The Champions League T20 2013 is all set to take off on Star Sports, Star Cricket and Star Cricket HD and this time, the opening and final matches of the tournament "will be simulcast on Star India’s flagship movie channel Star Gold." The tournament featuring four Indian Premier League franchises and T20 teams from other cricketing countries "will also be the last time cricket fans will see Sachin Tendulkar, MS Dhoni and Rahul Dravid in action together" in an int'l T20 tournament (BUSINESS STANDARD, 9/18). ... SingTel sports channel subscribers can watch "live" Champions League matches via the mio TV GO app, available for download on Apple and Android mobile devices. The free app "allows subscribers to enjoy 'live' streaming for 10 channels" (THE NEW PAPER, 9/19).
