Media Notes: Sport1 US To Be Broadcast In Austria On A1's TV Offerings

German sports network Sport1 has signed an agreement with Austrian telecom comany A1 that will see pay-TV channel Sport1 US distributed throughout Austria as part of A1's TV offerings. More than 220,000 customers use A1's TV service. Sport1 US will be available on A1's premium TV package (Sport1). ... Second Bundesliga club FC Cologne has signed a partnership deal with social media network foursquare starting with the '13-14 season. Cologne is the first professional German football club to offer its fans the opportunity to connect with other fans through virtual check-ins (FC Cologne).
