Man City Launches GoPro Initiative Featuring Behind-The-Scenes Footage

Man City has announced a new project with camera manufacturer GoPro to create innovative content. Using GoPro’s point-of-view filming, Man City will give fans first-hand insight into the team. Earlier this summer on City’s preseason tour of N.Y., the GoPro media team received exclusive access to players and filmed the brand’s first football feature shot on GoPro’s new HERO3 camera. The cameras were mounted to the club’s coaches and players during practice sessions, including Joe Hart and Samir Nasri. In addition, GoPros also featured during both of Man City’s U.S. fixtures at Yankee Stadium in N.Y. and Busch Stadium in St. Louis, capturing the prematch atmosphere and what players go through before they take to the field of play (Man City).
