Media Notes: German Football Magazine '11 Freunde' Launches New IPhone, IPad App

German football magazine "11 Freunde" has launched a new app for iPhone and iPad. The app "is available in the iTunes Store and enables customers to view the magazine's content on tablet and smartphone." In addition to the magazine content, the app "provides access to all online content of 11freunde.de as well as additional multimedia features" (DWDL, 8/12). ... South Korean car manufacturer Kia Motors "has extended its cooperation with German pay-TV channel Sky for the new Bundesliga season" (DWDL, 8/12). ... The IOC has reached an agreement with Dentsu Inc. for the Olympic broadcast rights in 17 countries across Asia for the 2014 Sochi Games, 2016 Rio Games and 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing, China (IOC).
