This year's number translated into a market share of 27.4%. In the target demographic 14-49, the game attracted 2.13 million viewers and had a 23.3% share. The game was watched by more than 8 million viewers if you add the viewing numbers of German pay-TV channel Sky, which also showed the game live (QUOTENMETER, 8/10).
50TH ANNIVERSARY: QUOTENMETER's Daniel Sallhoff reported German public broadcaster ZDF "has attracted high numbers for the anniversary show of 'das aktuelle sportstudio,'" which celebrated its 50th birthday. The show, which aired at 10pm on Saturday night, was watched by 2.75 million viewers. The number translated into a 15.7% market share. In the target demographic, the program obtained an 11.2% share. ARD's Bundesliga "Sportschau" program attracted 4.25 million viewers. The show, which started at 6:30pm, had a 26.7% market share and a 18.6% share in the target demographic. In addition, ARD attracted up to 1.48 million viewers for its broadcast of the 2013 IAAF World Championships in Moscow. The number translated into a 15.6% share (QUOTENMETER, 8/11).
