Event Notes: Pit Lane Speed Limit Reduced To 80 KMH For Drivers In Hungarian Grand Prix

Rule changes "originally scheduled to be implemented" in '14 will be in effect at Sunday's Hungarian Grand Prix in Budapest, Hungary. One of the "new rules in place will be a speed limit in the pits of 80 kmh instead of 100 kmh." The rule is a response to an incident in which a cameraman was injured during the German Grand Prix earlier in July (MARCA, 7/24). ... Organizers said that a U20 int'l football tournament "will be held in August," in Lubango, Angola with "teams like Angola, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea and Zimbabwe" (XINHUA, 7/24). ... National Olympic Committee of Cambodia officials on Sunday revealed that "talented, young sports reporters are to be recruited for the 17th Asian Games being held in Incheon, South Korea" from Sept. 19-Oct. 4 next year. While the NOCC "will facilitate the recruitment process, the Olympic Council of Asia is funding the drive and will make final judgment on applications" (PHNOM PENH POST, 7/24).
