The 25-year-old "was taking part in the first of two planned World Supersport series races, which went ahead despite torrential rain." Antonelli "was involved in a collision" with LORENZO ZANETTI on the final corner of the opening lap of the race. He "was rushed to hospitaly but later died from his injuries" (EUROSPORT, 7/21). ... Basketball Japan League Yokohama B-Corsairs named MICHAEL KATSUHISA coach. Katsuhisa served as an assistant under coach REGGIE GEARY during the team's first two seasons, including Yokohama's 12-13 championship (JAPAN TIMES, 7/20). ...
