  • Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray Expected To Leap To No. 2 On Tennis Rich List By '18

    Andy Murray is predicted to become the world's second wealthiest tennis player by '18, from his current ranking at seventh, following his historic inaugural win at Wimbledon on Sunday. Wealth-X, the ultra high net worth intelligence firm, estimates that Murray will increase his future earnings by nearly four-fold to $160M through prize money and endorsements, propelling him into second place after Maria Sharapova and ahead of Novak Djokovic.     Second Bundesliga club SC Paderborn has agreed to a new title sponsorship deal with online car-parts retailer kfzteile24. The two parties signed a two-year deal that provides kfzteile24 with ad space on boards at home games and its logo will be featured on the team's jersey. The deal was brokered by marketing company sportsman media group (SC Paderborn). ... Second Bundesliga club FC Union Berlin has signed a new sponsorship deal with European betting provider BetVictor. The company will receive ad space on boards at home games as well as promotion and communication opportunities. The deal was brokered by ad agency ANKOMM (Union Berlin). ... Handball Bundesliga (HBL) club MT Melsungen has extended its partnerships with private brewery Licher and radio station Hitradio FFH. The brewery will stay a premium partner of the club until '16 while Hitradio FFH will stay the team's media partner for another year (MT Melsungen). ... The Barcelona 2013 FINA World Championships Organizing Committee has signed an agreement with Catalan brewery Estrella Damm, which collaborates with FC Barcelona and RCD Espanyol. Estrella Damm will provide water and beer for the World Championships, to be held July 19-Aug. 4 (BCN 2013). ... The Irish Sailing Association has announced that Providence Resources will sponsor the Irish sailing team for the run up to the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics.
