Facility Notes: Bayer Leverkusen Increases Food, Beverage Prices By An Average Of 5.6%

Bundesliga club Bayer Leverkusen "will increase the prices for food and beverages at its home stadium, BayArena, for the upcoming season." On average the club "will increase the prices by 5.6%." Leverkusen Managing Dir Wolfgang Holzhäuser explained the price increase by saying, "Our caterer has increased its prices." In addition, the club "will increase its season-ticket prices" (KÖLNER STADT-ANZEIGER, 6/19). ... Just four years after its inauguration, "and despite being recognized by fans throughout Spain as the best stadium in La Liga," RCD Espanyol's Cornellá-El Prat stadium is last in the '12-13 La Liga rankings of its teams' attendance based on percentage of stadium capacity filled (MUNDO DEPORTIVO, 6/20).
