Germany is mourning the death of former World Cup winners OTTMAR WALTER and HEINZ FLOHE. Walter "was part of Germany's World Cup-winning squad in '54." Walter died on Sunday moring in a nursing home in Kaiserslautern, Germany. He was 89. Flohe, who won the World Cup title with the German national team in '74, "died Saturday evening." Flohe "had been in a vigil coma since he fainted and collapsed on May 11, 2010." He was 65 (BILD, 6/16). ... Argentine former Formula One driver JOSÉ FROILÁN GONZÁLEZ died at the age of 90.
