Media Notes: SiriusXM Radio Signs Deal With Relevent Sports To Broadcast Football Games

SiriusXM Radio and Relevent Sports, a division of RSE Ventures, signed a broadcast agreement that will deliver a series of world class football matches to listeners nationwide on SiriusXM FC. SiriusXM listeners will get live play-by-play of a number of matches organized by Relevent Sports, including this summer's inaugural Guinness Int'l Champions Cup tournament and other matches such as the Spain-Ireland friendly at Yankee Stadium in June (SiriusXM Radio). ... TG4 has confirmed that it will broadcast live and exclusive coverage of both of Ireland's Test matches during its North American tour next month as well as providing live and exclusive coverage of the 2013 Int'l Rugby Board Junior World Championship from France (IRFU). ... The Int'l Cricket Council Champions Trophy is set to reach an audience of 1.5 billion, thanks to new and extended agreements secured by STAR Sports. This includes the continuance of long-term partnerships with Fox Sports in Australia, BSkyB in the U.K., Sky TV in New Zealand, SuperSport in South Africa and Sub-Saharan Africa and Pehla in the Middle East and North Africa. It also includes the partnership with ESPN in the U.S. and Caribbean and the continued coverage of the ICC events on terrestrial TV in Pakistan via PTV, Bangladesh via BTV and Sri Lanka via CSN (ICC).
