SKY HIGH: QUOTENMETER's Grzeschik reported German pay-TV channel Sky "has also recorded top ratings for its Bundesliga simulcast" on Saturday afternoon. A total of 1.3 million viewers tuned in at 3:30pm to watch Sky's Bundesliga broadcast. The number translated into a 11.1% share. In the target demographic, Sky obtained an "unbelievably high" 16.4% share (QUOTENMETER, 5/19).
DTM: QUOTENMETER's Grzeschik wrote ARD received low ratings for its broadcast of the German Touring Car Championship (DTM) qualifying session on Saturday afternoon. The qualifying session from Brands Hatch, England, which started at 2:30pm, attracted 500,000 viewers and had a 4.8% market share.
