Media Notes: Badminton World Federation, IMG Media Agree To Four-Year Deal

Global sports information and technology company STATS LLC Sunday announced that Argentina football side Vélez Sársfield will use the firm's SportVU player tracking technology that produces football data in real-time for scouting and coaching analysis. STATS' collaboration with Vélez Sársfield is part of the launch of its new data collection and sales office in South America. STATS CEO Gary Walrath said, "STATS is proud to extend its global network to Argentina" (STATS). ... Badminton World Federation and IMG Media have agreed to a four-year contract for the centralized media rights of the BWF Major Events, the BWF World Superseries and BWF Grand Prix Gold (INDIAN TELEVISION, 5/18).
