GREG DYKE has been unanimously voted in as the FA independent chair. Dyke's appointment was approved Thursday by the FA Council. Dyke, 65, will take over in his new role on July 13, with DAVID BERNSTEIN leaving the post after two-and-a-half years (THE FA, 5/16). ... The Swiss Ski Federation has appointed former men's team head coach OSI INGLIN "as practice and race infrastructure coordinator." The main task of the 44-year-old will be "finding and developing new practice slopes as well as investing in the cooperation with existing partners" (NEUE ZÜRCHER ZEITUNG, 5/16). ... Canadian ADHAM SHARARA was reelected as President of the Int'l Table Tennis Federation during the world table tennis championships (XINHUA, 5/16). ... The European Professional Football League announced at a board meeting that French Professional League President FRÉDÉRIC THIRIEZ is its new ad interim Association Chair. Eredivisie CEO FRANK RUTTEN was also unanimously appointed deputy chair (EPFL). ... Veteran NHL coach MIKE KEENAN signed a two-year contract to coach Russian club Metallurg Magnitogorsk (AP, 5/15). ... Ticketmaster appointed CHRISTOPH HOMANN as managing dir of its secondary ticketing arm, Ticketmaster Resale. Homann joins Ticketmaster Resale from eBay, where he was dir of U.K. B2C business (THE STAGE, 5/16).
