Olympic Notes: Sochi To Unveil Medals For 2014 Games On May 30

Medals for the 2014 Winter Games in Sochi will be unveiled at this month's gathering of top sports and Olympic officials. The medals will presented at the IOC's Exec Board meeting in St. Petersburg, Russia on May 30 (REUTERS, 5/16). ...  Russia's foreign ministry's ambassador-at-large Valery Kuzmin said Thursday that Russia is "willing to cooperate with foreign special services to ensure safety of the Sochi Winter Olympics. Kuzmin said that "Russia was 'open to such cooperation' with special services on security at the upcoming 2014 Sochi games" (XINHUA, 5/16).
