The FC Bayern Munich AG supervisory board has extended the contract with Chair KARL-HEINZ RUMMENIGGE for three years from Jan. 1, 2014 to Dec. 30, 2016. The contract with Marketing Dir ANDREAS JUNG, set to expire on June 30, 2014, was also extended by two years until June 30, 2016. The supervisory board also expanded the current four-member exec board by one additional position. The new five-member FC Bayern Munich AG exec board includes: Rummenigge; Jung; board member for sport MATTHIAS SAMMER; Finance Dir JAN-CHRISTIAN DREESEN and new board member for internationalization and strategy JÖRG WACKER (Bayern Munich). ... BBC Dir of Sport ROGER MOSEY has been appointed the corporation's editorial director. Mosey, who was behind the BBC's Olympic coverage, "will report directly" to new Dir General TONY HALL "in the newly created role." His appointment to a "troubleshooter" role across news, TV and radio comes after a series of scandals that have beset the corporation (GUARDIAN, 5/7). ... Two Scotsmen, CHARLES ALLEN and CRAIG REEDIE, "will act as exec counsel to the organizing committee" of the 2014 Commonwealth Games led by LORD OF KELVIN ROBERT SMITH. Allen acted as a non-exec director of the 2012 London Olympic Committee and was chair of the 2002 Manchester Commonwealth Games. Reedie is an IOC VP (BBC, 5/7). ... OUK SETHYCHEAT has replaced LAK SAM ART as Cambodia's Education, Youth, and Sport Minister, with the outgoing official taking early retirement. Sethycheat "was promoted from his postion of president of the national training centre," with his VP PON SOK "also moving up to the role of deputy minister" (PHNOM PENH POST, 5/7).

COACHES/MANAGERS:
League Championship side Wolverhampton Wanderers have sacked Manager DEAN SAUNDERS "after their relegation from the league" (EUROSPORT, 5/7). ... League Championship Millwall Manager KENNY JACKETT has resigned from his position "after almost six years in charge." He was the sixth longest serving manager in the Football League behind ManU's ALEX FERGUSON, Arsenal's ARSENE WENGER, Everton's DAVID MOYES, Stoke City's TONY PULIS and Exeter's PAUL TISDALE. The club's board of directors decided to accept Jackett's resignation "with reluctance" (PA, 5/7).
