Australian Football League Sydney Swans Chair RICHARD COLLESS will "step down" at the end of the season after 20 years on the job. Colless: "There is no particular reason for this decision other than the old adage that it is probably about time" (THE AUSTRALIAN, 5/3). ... Nike named Umbro President & CEO MICHAEL SPILLANE VP & GM of its greater China region, effective in June. Spillane replaces CRAIG CHEEK, who was named VP & GM of Nike's Young Athletes, where he will "oversee strategy and drive growth supporting the company's key categories" (Nike). ... Apparel company E.Land formed a new global exec team to oversee K-Swiss, with which it just completed its merger. E.Land named TRUMAN KIM chairman, LARRY REMINGTON President & CEO, BARNEY WATERS CMO and WIM TUIJL Europe managing director. Incumbent COO ED FLORA will remain in his position. Remington replaces former K-Swiss CEO STEVEN NICHOLS and former President DAVID NICHOLS (THE DAILY).
