Tranmere Rovers Announce Store Firm Home Bargains As New Shirt Sponsor

League One side Tranmere Rovers FC "have announced Home Bargains as their new shirt sponsor" for next season, according to Nick Hilton of the LIVERPOOL ECHO. The Liverpool-based store firm signed a three-year deal worth a "substantial six-figure sum" to replace the 24-year arrangement with the club's current sponsors, Wirral Council, which finishes at the end of the season. The Home Bargains logo "will be worn on all team home and away kit, training kit and replica kit." Wirral Council "provided the longest running shirt sponsors in English football" and have supported Tranmere since the '89-90 season (LIVERPOOL ECHO, 4/16).
