Event Notes: A-League Final Could Lead To Sell-Out At Allianz Stadium

A-League's newest franchise, Western Sydney could "set a new record" at Sydney's Allianz Stadium when it plays Central Coast this Sunday. Tickets go on sale to Wanderers and Mariners members Monday and "demand is likely to be extreme, with officials already confident of a sell-out" despite the game being held at the home of Sydney FC, the Wanderers' cross-city rivals (DAILY TELEGRAPH, 4/15). ... The Asia Cup cricket tournament will be held in Bangladesh for the second time in a row after India, who had earlier agreed to host the '14 edition, "backed out citing a packed international schedule." The likely dates for the tournament will be Feb. 24 to March 8 (TIMES OF INDIA, 4/14).
