Former Indian Davis Cup player JAIDEEP MUKHERJEA "was on Saturday appointed president of the newly-formed Indian Tennis Players Association" while LEANDER PAES "was surprisingly named" as one of three VPs (PTI, 4/7). ... German 3rd League football club Stuttgarter Kickers has fired head coach GERD DAILS after Saturday's 1-0 loss to Rot-Weiß Essen, which "extended the team's winless streak to seven games in a row." Dails said, "It is true, I was told about it [Sunday] morning." The 49-year-old will be replaced by Italian MASSIMO MORALES (SID, 4/7). ... The Professional Squash Association is expanding its exec team with the appointment of LAURENT COSSA, JEREMY MILNES and HANNAH MASON. Cossa will be the PSA's creative media manager, Milnes its marketing & commercial manager and Mason its tour coordinator (PSA).
