Champions League Match Between Bayern Munich, Juventus Attracts 1 Million On Sky

German pay-TV channel Sky "has recorded more than 1 million viewers for its broadcast of the Champions League match between Bayern Munich and Juventus," according to Manuel Weis of QUOTENMETER. A total of 1.12 million viewers tuned in to watch the first leg of the quarterfinal matchup on Tuesday night. The game, which started at 8:45pm German time, received a 3.8% market share. In the target demographic 14-49, Bayern's 2-0 victory attracted 550,000 viewers, which equaled a 4.8% share. Sky said that "viewership for such games is usually an additional 40% higher as viewers who watch the game at Sky-Sportbars are not counted toward the number (QUOTENMETER, 4/3).
