EDF Energy Extends Sponsorship With British Paralympic Association

EDF Energy "has renewed its sponsorship" of The British Paralympic Association through the 2016 Rio Olympics, according to Matthew Chapman of MARKETING MAGAZINE. The deal means the energy supplier "will support the ParalympicsGB team and join BT, Sainsbury's and Deloitte as a sponsor for the next four years," which includes the 2014 Sochi Olympics. EDF will also continue its 'Team EDF' ambassador program, which supported individual Paralympic athletes, including swimmer Ellie Simmonds, during the London Games (MARKETING MAGAZINE, 3/15).
