SPORTFIVE Extends Media Rights With FIBA In Asia Through 2015

Sports marketing agency SPORTFIVE Int'l has extended its cooperation with basketball world governing body FIBA for the sale of media rights to the Basketball World Cup, FIBA Asia Championships and other continental championships for men and women. The agreement will continue to cover media rights throughout Asia (excluding Japan and the pan-Arab region) through to '15 and will include the 2013 FIBA Asia Championship in the Philippines, the 2013 FIBA Asia Women's Championship in Thailand, the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup in Spain, the 2014 FIBA Women's World Championship in Turkey, and in 2015 the FIBA Asia Championships for men and women with the host countries to be announced soon (SPORTFIVE).
