Event Notes: English Institute Of Sport To Host Paralympic Event

The English Institute of Sport in Sheffield will play host to the second Paralympics GB Sports Fest on April 26 and 27. Sports Fest is a free two-day multi-sport event for disabled people (English Institute of Sport). ... The Int'l Volleyball Federation announced the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships in Stare Jablonki, Poland and a record number of 11 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Grand Slam tournaments will highlight a modernized FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour in '13 (FIVB). ... Nigeria is to play host to ministers of sports in the Economic Community Of West African States region on Tuesday to "discuss issues bordering on sports development among member states of the west African bloc" (XINHUA, 2/22). ... The Int'l Tennis Federation Beach Tennis World Championships will return to Italy when the Italian Tennis Federation hosts the '13 event in the Adriatic resort of Cervia in Ravenna from July 31 to Aug. 4 (ITF).
