Media Notes: Canal+'s Champions League Broadcast Gets Strong Ratings In France

In France, pay-TV channel Canal+'s broadcast of the Champions League round of 16 matchup between Ligue 1 Paris St. Germain and La Liga Valencia was watched by 1.7 million viewers for a 28% share (OZAP, 2/13). ... The Premier League has awarded TV rights in Turkey to Saran Media. The deal includes all 380 matches per season beginning with the '13-14 season and running through '15-16 (Premier League). ...
