Event Notes: Hong Kong Residents Wait For Result Of Ticket Ballot For Sevens Rugby

More than 40,000 Hong Kong residents "will be hoping their names come out of the hat on Thursday when the ballot for the 4,000 public tickets is decided for next month’s Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens" (SOUTH CHINA MORNING POST, 2/6). ... A senior sports official said that Cambodia will host the third int'l half marathon on June 16 "in order to promote sports and attract more foreign visitors" to the city. National Olympic Committee Secretary General Vath Chamroeun said that the 21km Phnom Penh Int'l Half Marathon "will be held in front of the Royal Palace" (XINHUA, 2/6).
