Korea Open Badminton Tournament Begins In South Korea With $1M In Prize Money

The 22nd Korea Open tournament kicks off Tuesday with the preliminary rounds in men's and women's singles and doubles, as well as mixed doubles. The finals for all disciplines are scheduled for Sunday. The "total purse for the tournament is $1M," the largest of any badminton event this year.
